Tech Trek was born at ITBA out of the idea of two students to get to know what was happening in the world's technological mecca. We flied to Silicon Valley and visited companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter and many more to find out how they manage innovation day by day.
We designed the first full experience which consists of two intense weeks of work visiting different companies, VCs, startups, accelerators, co-working spaces, startup-houses and universities.
We brought 10 students from Corrientes to Buenos Aires, to get to know the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city + the 3rd experience of a new team of 8 students in Silicon Valley.
We partnered with Trama and expanded TT Argentina to 8 different provinces and to an amount of 20 students + the 4th trip to Silicon Valley.
We organized our first Hackaton. More than 60 participants and the topics where Fintech, Edtech and HealthTech.
We partnered with Amazon and other many companies to fulfill our mission of impacting the world entrepreneurs
Tech Trek adapted to the new context introducing webinars and Tech Trek Hubs Online. Our focus shifted to become a leading organization connecting young people with the world technology hubs

Después de meses de mucho trabajo, muchas reuniones y miles de mails llegó finalmente el día que todos habíamos esperado, los 7 Tech Trekers estábamos recorriendo las calles de Silicon Valley llenos de emoción y con muchas ganas de aprender de cada visita. Hay que admitir que los días fueron agotadores, estábamos a mil desde que sonaba la alarma temprano hasta que nos íbamos a dormir muy tarde. Pero lo mejor de todo esto era que, en cada momento, estabas aprendiendo algo nuevo, compartiendo con personas muy interesantes y viviendo una experiencia inolvidable...
Muchas veces cuando hablamos de la cultura de una empresa tendemos a confundir su significado y quedarnos con lo más superficial y más aún cuando pensamos en las compañías de Silicon Valley.
